7 Accounts

Every Tibia player must have an account. Tibia accounts are like personal registers that help players to organise their activities in Tibia. If you have not done yet, please create an account first. Each account has its own account page on the official website. The holder of the account can access the corresponding account page anytime by clicking on the "Login" button on the left hand side of the website. A login dialog will appear in which the account name and password must be entered. Once the login is completed the characters page will be displayed. To go to other sections of your account page, click on "Manage Account". There, the account page is again divided into different sections. On top of your account page you find a navigation box containing links that allow you to quickly jump to the various sections. Apart from the characters section which you can always reach by clicking the button "Overview", you find 4 sections on a newly created account: General Information, Registration, Billing Information and Extra Services. If you have reported characters for an illegal name in the last 30 days, a section named Rule Violation Reports will be displayed below the section Extra Services. If you ever break a Tibia Rule, a section called rule violation record will be added at the end of the page.
Note: Players who are new to Tibia will find 2 important hints on the top of their character's page. One asks you to confirm your account. The other one reminds you to register your account. Players are strongly advised to register their accounts as it is an important security feature. Note that accounts represent real value, especially if there are characters of medium or high level on them. For this reason accounts are protected by a number of safety features. Players should take some basic precautions to protect their accounts. If you would like to know more, we strongly recommend you read the security hints today!


7.1 Notes on Account Data

In order to access the game and to manage your account so-called account data is required. There are several distinct kinds of account data, 3 of which are created during account creation: the assigned email address, the account name and the first password. Some of this data can be changed later on. Also, once an account is created it may be registered to get a recovery key, which is also an important kind of account data. Important: Keep a wary eye on your account data at all times! If somebody else gets access to your account data, your account may be stolen or damaged in some other way!
  • Account Name
    Account names are used to identify accounts. You select your account name while creating an account. New players should memorise them well, since they must enter their account name whenever they wish to play Tibia. If you have forgotten your account name, you can request it by using the Lost Account Interface. The account name will be sent to the account email address. For a fee of € 4.95 you can change your account name later on.
  • Password
    The password is the second code players must enter when logging into Tibia. Passwords must be combinations of letters and figures which consist of a minimum of 8 digits. Players can easily change their password anytime by using the "Change password" option on the account page. Unlike changes of the account email address, changes of passwords take effect immediately. Note that passwords should be secure - ideally they should contain a mix of upper and lower case letters, numbers and special symbols. If you have forgotten your password, you can use the Lost Account Interface to request a new one. The new password will be sent to the account email address.
  • Email Address
    This is the email address to which the Tibia account is assigned. The account email address is extremely important because it is the key to the account it is assigned to. A player who has lost both the account name and the password can still get an account back by using the Lost Account Interface, provided he has access to the email address. Note that only one Tibia account can be assigned to one email address at a time. It is possible to reassign the account to a different email address later on.
  • Recovery Key
    Once an account has been created the holder of the account may optionally generate a recovery key to increase the account's protection further. This 20-digit recovery key can be used to instantly register accounts to new email addresses by using the Lost Account Interface. In order to create a recovery key the corresponding account must be registered first. Please see the section on account registration for more details.

7.2 Managing Your Account

Account management is done on the account page. On top of it you find a navigation box which contains links to quickly jump to the various sections. On the right-hand side of this box, the logout button is located. Clicking on this button logs you out from your account on the website. You must log in successfully before you can access your account page again. Note that characters will automatically log out from the website if they have been inactive for 45 minutes.

For all players without a position, the account page may contain up to 6 sections plus the characters section which are all explained below.

7.2.1 Characters + Character World Transfer
The characters section is shown to you whenever you log in your account. On the top of the page, it is shown whether your account is free or premium, or if there is an unactivated payment for your account. Below, a list of all characters currently belonging to the account is displayed. The list shows the name, game world and status of each character, with "Status" indicating whether or not a character is hidden. Also, you will find the links "Edit" and "Delete"/"Undelete" behind the character you have currently selected.

Click on "Delete"/"Undelete" to remove a character from an account or to keep a character you have recently deleted:
  • Delete Character
    This option can be used to delete characters. If you would like to remove one or more characters from your account, click on this button, and confirm your decision by entering the valid account password. Character deletions are not finalised until 60 days have passed, so you have 2 months to change your mind. During this period of time deletions can be cancelled by clicking on the button "Undelete Character". Keep in mind, however, that characters are permanently deleted once the 2-month period is finished, and there is no way to restore them!
    Characters who are set for deletion do not count as active, so they are not considered for the calculation of the character limit. Thus, if there are 20 active characters on your account and you set one of them for deletion, you may create one new character. However, if you do that, you cannot undelete the character who is set for deletion because the limit of 20 active characters can never be exceeded. To undelete that character you must set another active character for deletion first. Please note that the total of active and deleted characters may not exceed 25.
    Note: Please understand that names of deleted characters cannot be chosen for new characters for at least six months.
  • Undelete Character
    If you have set a character on deletion, you have 60 days to rethink your decision. If you decide rather not to delete a character, you can click on the button "Undelete Character". Simply click on "Submit" and you can use your character just like before you deleted it. Note, however, that all characters that have not been undeleted during these 60 days are deleted for good and cannot be recovered.

  • Click on "Edit" to view or change your character's name, game world or sex, or to edit the character information:
    Character Data
    a) Change Name: For a fee of € 6.95 you can change your character's name. To do so click on the button "Change Name". On the next page enter your new character name. Note that also your new name must not violate the Tibia Rules or your risk a namelock or even a banishment. Confirm the character name change. You can now pay for this service by clicking on "Purchase". Note that you can only pay by credit card via the Tibia payment system or via a reseller for this service.
    As long as the character name change is not paid and with that completed, you can cancel or edit the chosen new character name in the "Extra Services" section anytime.
    Note: If credit card payments are blocked for your account, you can only pay via a reseller to change your character name.
    Once a character is renamed, the old name can still be used for 6 months in the Lost Account Interface or to find a character in the Characters section.
    b) Change World: If you do no longer want to be a part of a certain game world with your character, you can move your character to another game world. There are, however, several restrictions and requirements that need to be fulfilled:
    • A character can only be transferred once within 6 months.
    • A world transfer costs € 19.95 for each character.
    • The character must not have a red or black skull. Furthermore, the account's conduct level must be yellow or lower. Accounts whose conduct level is orange, red or black are blocked from transferring.
    • A character that should be transferred must give up its rented house, guild membership and marriage status on its current game world.
    • A character that should be transferred may not have any open offers in the Tibia market. This includes sell offers as well as buy offers.
    • A character will keep its bank account, skills, spells and quest flags when being transferred to another game world.
    • A character may only be transferred to worlds of the same type or to worlds with more limited PvP possibilities: from Optional PvP only to Optional PvP, from Open PvP to Open PvP or Optional PvP, and from Hardcore PvP to all game worlds.
      However, characters from all game worlds, except for preview worlds, are allowed to move to free-to-move game worlds.
    • A character who has been transferred to a free-to-move game world, may only be transferred again to a game world of the same type or to worlds with more limited PvP possibilities than the game world on which the character has lived before the last transfer from a regular to a free-to-move game world: e.g. a character that has been transferred from an Open PvP world to a free-to-move game world, can only be transferred from a free-to-move game world to an Open, an Optional PvP, or another free-to-move game world.
    • It is generally impossible to transfer characters from or onto a preview world.
    • The character world transfer is available for both premium and free account players. In order to move to a premium game world, however, the account the character is assigned to has to be premium at the time of the transfer.
    • Some game worlds might be marked as "blocked". Transfers to game worlds marked as "blocked" are not possible.
    • Characters must have a vocation to be transferred. Therefore, it is impossible to transfer a character that lives on Rookgaard.
    • Item restrictions:
      • Note that all items that your character still has in depots at the time of the transfer will be deleted. The only exception is the depot on Travora. All items in this depot will be transferred together with your character.
      • Together with your character, a maximum of 1,000 items may be transferred to the new game world, with item stacks counting as single items for this purpose. All items need to be either in your inventory or in your Travora depot. Please note that Premium Scrolls cannot be moved between game worlds, so if your character has one or more Premium Scrolls, he will have to pass them on to another character or use them in order to proceed with the character world transfer.
      • Most items are limited to 1 unit per character. This includes all kinds of weapons, all kinds of armor, most equipment items as well as quest rewards and addon items, e.g. a character can only take along one pair of boots of haste or one magic plate armor.
      • Stackable items that are needed for quests are usually limited to 100 units per character, including pieces of cloth, demonic essences etc.
      • Not limited to any number are, among others, potions, runes, ammunition, rings, amulets, any kinds of containers, medals, trophies, and fansite items. You can take as many of them as you want as long as you do not exceed the maximum limit of 1,000.
      • When you prepare your character for the world transfer on Travora, NPC Sharon will help you find out which of your items are limited and which are not.
    Provided you fulfil all requirements, you can start to transfer your character by clicking on "Change World". The system checks if your character meets the basic requirements for the transfer. In case a requirement is not fulfilled, you cannot proceed until you have taken the appropriate steps to fulfil all conditions. If you meet all requirements, you can now select the game world you want to play on in the future. Note that only game worlds will be displayed which are available as target game worlds for your character. Click on "Continue" to be led to a page where you need to confirm the entered data. If everything is correct, click on "Submit" to proceed. You have now initiated the character world transfer. Click on "Purchase" to pay for this service. Note that you can pay by credit card or bank transfer using the Tibia payment system or via a reseller. You can also pay at a later date by clicking on "view" beside the corresponding entry in the Extra Services section on your account page.
    Note: If credit card payments are blocked for your account, you can pay via a reseller or bank transfer if available to transfer a character to another game world.

    Besides paying for the character world transfer, you also need to prepare your character ingame:
    • Bringing along items to the new game world is limited to 1,000. So, in case your belongings outnumber this limit, you should sell some of your items before you leave.
    • Take a ship to the island of Travora from any harbour in Tibia. The price for a ticket is 1,000 gold coins. It is valid for 24 hours. In this time, you can travel back and forth as often as you like. This transit can be made by premium and free account players alike. Note that from Travora you can only return to the city from which you have travelled to it.
    • On Travora, a bank, a post, a mailbox and a depot are available. Also, there is NPC Sharon who will guide you through the transfer process. The entire island is a protection zone.
    • Items which you want to bring along to the destination world have to be placed either in your inventory or in your depot chest on Travora. Note, however, that items in your inbox will not be moved. Therefore, make sure that you have moved all items you want to take with you to the new game world from your inbox to your depot chest.
    • Once you are finished, talk to NPC Sharon. Step by step, she will check if you meet the requirements for the transfer.
    • If all requirements are met, you get teleported to a special platform on which you can trigger the world transfer by logging out there. A teleporter brings you back to Travora in case you are still uncertain whether to leave right now or later. Also after logging out, you can still log in until the next server save.
    • If you have logged out on the platform and paid for the world transfer, the transfer will be initiated during the next server save. Note that it can take up to 24 hours until your character has arrived on the new game world after the server save.
    • Between the server saves of the game world you are leaving from and of your destination world, you will not be able to login with this character any more and no further changes can be made.
    Note: You can cancel a character world transfer or change the target game world as long as the character transfer was not started by the server save.
    Once the transfer was successfully completed, your character spawns in the temple of your home town. In the depot nearby, you will find all items which you formerly stored in the depot on Travora. Now, your character's new life is ready to start.
    c) Change Sex: Players can change their characters' sex for a fee of € 2.95 per character. To do so click on this button and confirm that you really would like to change the sex of the selected character. You can now pay for this service by clicking on "Purchase". Note that you can only pay by credit card via the Tibia payment system or via a reseller for this service.
    As long as the sex change is not paid and with that completed, you can cancel the sex change in the "Extra Services" section anytime.
    Note: If credit card payments are blocked for your account, you can only pay via a reseller to change your character's sex.

    Character Deaths
    If your character has died in the last 30 days, you can see here when this unfortunate event took place and by whom or what your character was killed.
    There is no entry displayed if your character has not died in the game recently.

    Character Kills
    If you have killed another character in the last 10 weeks, you can see here the name of your opponent and the date and time you defeated this unlucky fellow. Also you find information whether this kill was ok, unjustified, assisted, or war related. Note that too many unjustified kills can lead to a red or a black skull which are connected with harsh sanctions in the game.
    There is no entry displayed if your character has not killed another character in the game recently.

    Edit Character Information
    a) Hide Account: If the box is not checked, the character can be viewed normally by any other player on the character information page. However, if the box is ticked, the character will be hidden, and other players will only see basic information such as the character name, sex, etc. when looking at the corresponding character information page. Most importantly, all other characters on the account will be hidden. Note that a character with a locked name is always hidden.
    b) Comment: Any comment that is entered in this box will be displayed whenever a player views the character on the website.
    c) Forum Signature: Text entered in this box will be attached to any message this character posts in the forum. Note that signatures must not exceed 4 lines of text with a total of 200 letters.
    Please note that any texts entered in these fields can be seen by the whole community, so offensive statements or admitting of other violations of the Tibia Rules will be punished accordingly.

    Display Character Achievements
    On the bottom of this page, you find a list of all common achievements as well as all secret achievements that you have already discovered with a character of this account. Achievements that you have not accomplished yet with a character of your account are greyed out. You can select up to 5 earned achievements you would like to display on your character page. To do so, simply tick the box beside the achievements you want to show. Note that you can also select achievements you have accomplished with other characters of this account.

    In addition to the editing of individual characters the following options are available in the character section:
    • Create Character
      New characters can be created by clicking on this button. For details please see the section on character creation. Note that each account can hold a maximum of 20 active characters. If you would like to create further characters, you must delete at least one existing character first.

    7.2.2 Migration Tool
    In Tibia, certain data such as VIP lists or game settings has traditionally been stored locally, i.e. it was saved individually onto each computer on which Tibia was played. Now, however, such data is stored on the Tibia game servers instead, which means that players will find their VIP lists and favourite game settings to be the same on every computer from which they log into Tibia. Unfortunately, however, there are many veteran players out there who would surely like to transfer all their favourite settings or VIP lists to the game servers rather than having to start from scratch. And this is exactly what this handy tool is for - to transfer ("migrate") their VIP lists and game options onto the Tibia game servers. Moreover, you can also use the tool to transfer map data from your stand-alone client's automap to the Flash client's minimap.
    Clicking on the button "Migration Tool" will take you to the tool's main menu. Please note that the process of migrating data differs slightly depending on which client type you are using.

    Flash Client
    Migrating data from the Flash client to the game servers is easy. All you need is to select one or both of the options below to start the migration process.
    • Migrate VIP list
      Click on this button to migrate your VIP list from the Flash client to the Tibia game servers.
    • Migrate Options
      Click on this button to migrate your options settings from the Flash client to the Tibia game servers.
    Stand-Alone Client
    The process of migrating data from the stand-alone client is somewhat more complex than that of migrating data from the Flash client. In order to process your data from the stand-alone client, the migration tool requires an export file, which is created directly in the client. Once you have loaded this export file into the migration tool, the process is working exactly like with the Flash client.
    • Load Tibia Export File
      Click on this button to load the export file into the migration tool. Once you have done so, you will be able to use the two migration options below. Please keep in mind that you cannot use this option until you have created an export file in the stand-alone client.
    • Migrate VIP List
      Click on this button to migrate your VIP list from the stand-alone client to the Tibia game servers.
    • Migrate Automap
      Click on this button to migrate your stand-alone automap to the flash client. Once you have completed this process, your Flash client minimap will contain all map data from your stand-alone client.
    To access the subsequent sections of your account page, click on "Manage Account".

    7.2.3 General Information
    This section includes general account information such as the assigned email address, the date when the account was created, and the current account status, i.e. whether or not premium time is currently assigned to this account or the date when your last premium time period has expired. Also, the date of your last login, either to the account page or into the game, will be given. If your account holds a certain position in Tibia, it will also be shown here. Finally, if there is one or more active entries in your rule violation record, the account's conduct level is displayed in this box.
    The following options are available in this section:
    • Change Password
      By using this option, players can change the account password. To do so the current as well as the future password must be entered. Contrary to the process of changing the assigned email address password changes are instantaneous.
    • Change Email
      Players can initiate a change of the assigned email address by using this option. To confirm the change a new email address as well as the valid password must be entered. Note that accounts cannot be assigned to email addresses that are already assigned to a different Tibia account. For reasons of security email changes are not performed immediately. In fact, changes of email addresses take 30 days to take effect. During this period the process can be cancelled anytime. To make sure the account holder does not forget about the pending email change a note will be added on top of the account page. Also, an automatic email containing a warning about the upcoming email change is sent to the old email address. When the 30 days have passed players will be asked once more to confirm the email change. If the change is confirmed, the Tibia account is reassigned to the new email address, and a new password is sent to this address. Players must log into the game within 24 hours using this new password. If they fail to do so, the change of the email address is cancelled, and they can log in normally using their last valid password.
      Note that the process of re-registering accounts to new email addresses can be sped up by using the Lost Account Interface. However, to do so a player must have the valid recovery key. Email changes that have been performed using the recovery key are instantaneous.
    • Rename Account
      For a fee of € 4.95 you can change your account name whenever you want provided you have access to the account. To do so log into the account and click on "Rename Account" in the General Information section. Follow the instructions and pay the fee for this service. Once you have selected a new account name and paid for it, the account name is changed instantly.
    • Terminate Account
      If you would like to delete your Tibia account, you need to click on this button. All of your characters are then scheduled for deletion at once. Note that it takes 2-3 months until the account is deleted for good. Until the deletion is final, you can still reverse the termination by undeleting one of your characters on this account. To do so, click on "Undelete Character" in the Characters section and follow the instructions.
    • Logout
      Logging out from accounts is done by clicking on this button. You must log in successfully before you can access your account page again. Note that characters will automatically log out from the website if they have been inactive for 45 minutes.
    7.2.4 Facebook Linkup
    In this section you can either connect respectively disconnect your Tibia account and your Facebook profile or extend your newly created Tibia account. The button in this section changes depending on your account's state:
    • Log in
      This button appears whenever you are not logged in your Facebook profile. If you have a Facebook profile, "Log in" to see other options for your Tibia account in this section.
    • Extend Account
      You will see this button if you have created a Tibia account using your Facebook profile. It is highly recommended to extend your account in order to benefit from more Tibia features and to increase your account's security. After clicking on "Extend Account", you will be asked to enter a password for your Tibia account and to repeat it. It is recommended that you use different passwords for Facebook and your Tibia account. Click on "Submit" to extend your account. Once your account is extended, you can log into Tibia either via Facebook or via the Tibia login using your Tibia account name and password.
      Note: Your Tibia account name was sent to the email address that was associated to your Facebook profile at the time you created your Tibia account. You can also find your Tibia account name in the general information box in the account management section.
    • Connect
      To connect your Tibia account with your Facebook profile, simply click on "Connect". Once you have connected your Tibia account to Facebook and you are logged into Facebook, all you need to do is click on the "Facebook Login" button and you will be automatically brought to your account management page where you can select your character and start to play. There is no need to enter your Tibia account name or password anymore.
      Note that you can have only one Tibia account connected to your Facebook profile. To connect your Facebook profile to a different Tibia account, you need to remove the existing linkup first.
    • Remove
      If you have connected your Tibia account with your Facebook profile, you can of course also remove this linkup at any time. Simply click on "Remove" and your Tibia account will no longer be connected to your Facebook profile.
    7.2.5 Registration
    This section of the account page shows the data that has been entered during the account registration process. The data includes the first and last name of the person to whom the account is registered along with the address, nationality, date of birth and gender. Of course, no data will be displayed if the account has not been registered yet.
    • Register Account
      Clicking on this button will start the account registration process. It is displayed as long as the account is not registered.
    • Edit
      This option is only available on registered accounts. It is used to change the data given in the registration. Note, however, that some registration data such as the gender and the date of birth cannot be changed after the original registration.

    • Invite Friend
      This option is also only available on registered accounts. You can use it to invite your friends to play Tibia with you. To do so, you need to enter your friend's email address. Note that you cannot send invitations to email addresses who are already assigned to a Tibia account.
      Your friend will then receive an invitation email which uses the name you have entered in your registration to identify you for your friend. If your friend then creates an account with this email address and becomes premium at the latest 90 days after the invitation has been sent, you will receive free premium time - either 5 days if your friend buys premium time for 30 days, or 10 days if your friend buys a premium time period of 90 days or more.
    • Bring Back a Buddy
      Similar to the "Invite Friend" option, the focus of the "Bring Back a Buddy" option is specifically on bringing back former players into the game. If you miss that special friend of yore with whom you share so many fond memories, why don't you drop him a line and ask him to come back? Simply click on the button, then enter your friend's character name in the dialog on the following page. Once you have confirmed, an automatic email will be sent to your buddy's registered email account. Your character name will be mentioned in the email, so that your old friend will know who caused the email to be sent.
      If your friend decides to come back to play, he will receive a little welcome back present on the first character he uses to log into Tibia. Even better, if he decides to buy a Premium Scroll package within 90 days after you sent the invitation, you will receive free premium time - either 5 days if your friend buys a package of 1 Premium Scroll, or 10 days if your friend buys a Premium Scroll package of 3 or more Premium Scrolls.
      Note: Players must have neither logged into the game nor into the website during a minimum period of one year in order to qualify as buddy.
    7.2.6 Premium Scrolls
    This section of your account page allows you to order and to manage Premium Scrolls on your account. Premium Scrolls are vouchers for Tibia premium time that can be purchased in packages of various sizes. Each individual Premium Scroll represents 30 days of premium time. Using the corresponding boxes in this section you can use Premium Scrolls to add premium time to your account or transfer them as items into the game. To purchase a Premium Scroll package for your account, simply click on the button "Add Premium Scroll", which will start the order process.
    • Adding Premium Time
      Once a payment for a Premium Scroll package has been confirmed, the corresponding number of Premium Scrolls is added to the balance. You can now transfer them into the game or use them to add premium time to your account.
      To add premium time to your account, simply select the number of Premium Scrolls you would like to use in the box "Use Premium Scrolls" and click on the "Use Scrolls" button. Once you have confirmed the process, the corresponding amount of premium time will be added to your account and an entry will be made in the Premium Scrolls History, which can be accessed via the "History" button in the box.
      Note: If your account previously did not have premium status, it will retain its free status until at least one Premium Scroll has been used and you successfully log into the game or your account.
    • Transferring Premium Scrolls Into the Game
      A distinctive feature of Premium Scrolls is that they can be transferred into the game as items, which can be traded with other players. However, transferring Premium Scrolls into the game is only possible if the corresponding account meets a number of requirements, which are shown on the account page. If your account should not meet one or more of them, the corresponding requirements will be highlighted.
      If all requirements are met, a further box is displayed in the Premium Scrolls section in which you can specify the amount of Premium Scrolls to be transferred and the character whom you would like to receive the Premium Scrolls. Once you have confirmed the transfer, the balance will be reduced accordingly and you will be informed about the transfer via a client message next time you log into the game. The Premium Scrolls will be transferred directly into the selected character's purse slot. If the character's purse slot already contains 30 Premium Scrolls, any further Premium Scrolls will not be created immediately. Instead, they will be created once the corresponding purse has enough space to take up further Premium Scrolls. Please note that transfers of Premium Scrolls into the game cannot be reversed.
      While Ingame Premium Scrolls are like regular objects in many respects, they have a number of highly special characteristics:
      • Premium Scrolls can only be kept in character purse slots or in depot boxes. It is not possible to move them out of containers or to put them onto the floor, for example.
      • Premium Scrolls can only be traded via the safe trade mode or the market .
      • Premium Scrolls are the only class of items for which free players can place buy offers in the market. They are also the only items to hold a market category of their own.
      • Premium Scrolls are never dropped if the character who holds them in his purse slot is killed.
      • Premium Scrolls have no weight.
      • Premium Scrolls cannot be transferred to another game world if a character performs a character world transfer.
    Using Premium Scroll items to add premium time to Tibia accounts is easy. Simply click on a Premium Scroll and select "use" in the context menu. Once you have confirmed the process, the Premium scroll will be destroyed and 30 days of premium time will be transferred to your account. Note, however, that if your account previously had free status, you will have to relog into the game for the process to be completed.

    7.2.7 Billing Information
    This section shows a record of all premium time that has ever been assigned to the account. If the account has never had premium time assigned to it, the message "No entries yet" will be displayed. If a subscription has been set up for the account, it will also be shown here.
    Tibia is a free game, and non-paying customers are welcome to play as often as they like. However, it is possible to order Premium Scrolls to raise accounts to premium status, which will unlock many additional premium features inside and outside the game. Order a Premium Scroll package and enjoy the full Tibia experience today! To order a Premium Scroll package for yourself or for a friend simply click on the "Add Premium Scrolls" button in the "Premium Scrolls" section . For details please see the manual section explaining the order process.

    7.2.8 Extra Services
    This section shows a record of all recent or open extra services. Extra services include: character name change, account name change, character sex change and character world transfer. If you have not ordered an extra service recently and have no open voucher for an extra service, the message "There are currently no open extra services." will be displayed.
    In this section you see all extra services which you have ordered recently. Also if you have already paid for an extra service or received a voucher for it but have not used it yet, you will find a corresponding entry in this list. At the end of each entry, you will find the button "view". Click on it to get more information on this entry and to cancel an unpaid order, to enter data for an open voucher, to pay an unpaid order, or to edit an unpaid requested extra service.

    7.2.9 Rule Violation Reports
    If you notice a name or guild title or rank which really disturbs you and that violates the Tibia Rules, if you see an ingame statement that violates the Tibia Rules, if you see a character that is using unofficial software (e.g. botting), if you see an illegal post, an illegal signature, or an illegal comment on a character's account page, you can make a report to customer support. All reports you have made in the last 30 days are displayed in this section. As long as customer support has not checked your report, the state of the report will be "pending". As soon as customer support has reviewed your report, the state will change to "processed".
    Below your reports, you find a message which tells you how many more reports you have left. Note that you cannot have more than 2 pending reports at a time and that you will not be able to make any reports if you have made too many invalid reports in the last 30 days.

    7.2.10 Rule Violation Record
    If you have violated one or more of the Tibia Rules, your account page will also contain a rule violation record. The rule violation record is a list on the account page that shows all confirmed rule violations made by characters from your account. If you cannot find a rule violation record on your account page, there is no entry yet. Entries in the rule violation record will show (from left to right) the date when the entry was made and the corresponding character name as well as the severity, stated reason and punishment of the rule violation. Note that the stated reason will clearly point out the rule that was violated. Please note that while conduct levels eventually decrease if no further rule violations are committed, entries in the rule violation record are never erased, even if they do not count for the conduct level.

    7.3 Ordering Premium Scroll Packages or Extra Services

    Currently, Tibia Premium Scroll packages can be ordered using either of two different payment systems. The Tibia payment system can be used to order Premium Scroll packages of 1, 3, 6 or 12 Premium Scrolls, set up subscriptions for 1 or 3 Premium Scrolls each or order extra services. On the other hand, it is also possible to order Premium Scroll packages of 3, 6 or 12 Premium Scrolls via our payment partner Element 5.
    Another option is to pay via one of our resellers. Resellers offer Premium Scroll packages of 1, 3 or 6 Premium Scrolls and extra services. Finally, you can also use game codes to buy Premium Scrolls packages of 1, 3, 6 and 12 Premium Scrolls as well as all extra services.

    7.3.1 Tibia Payment System
    At the moment, this system is only available for players from the following countries, unless you pay via a reseller or use a game code. Using the Tibia payment system you can either order Premium Scroll packages or set up Premium Scroll subscriptions. You can also use this payment system to pay for extra services such as character world transfers. Note, however, that most extra services can only be paid for using credit card, reseller or game code. Character world transfers are a notable exception, as they can also be paid for using bank transfers. No matter which method you choose, Premium Scrolls and extra services ordered via this system can only be bought for your own account and only if your account is registered.

    In the following you will find a detailed description on how to order and pay for Premium Scroll packages or extra services via the Tibia payment system.

    a) Ordering a Premium Scroll Package
    Premium Scrolls come in packages of one or more Premium Scrolls. Each Premium Scroll must be activated individually. Please keep in mind that premium time that is gained this way will not be extended automatically. If your premium time runs out, the corresponding account is set to free status and all additional premium features are suspended. It is recommended that you always order and activate Premium Scrolls in time to avoid problems such as lost houses.

    To order a Premium Scroll package, simply log into your account page and click on "Add Premium Scrolls" in the Premium Scrolls section.
    1. Select Product
      On this page you will be asked to select the Premium Scroll package you would like to buy and to specify your desired payment method. To order, select the Premium Time package you want in the radio menu, then choose your preferred payment method by clicking onto the corresponding symbol in the box below. Please note that available payment methods can differ depending on the selected package.
    2. Order Data
      • Credit card selected as payment method:
        At the top of the page you need to choose if you want to order a Premium Scroll package for 1, 3, 6 or 12 Premium Scrolls. Enter number, expiry date and verification code of your credit card. In case you do not know what a verification code is, click on "info" for further information. Finally, enter the name of the card holder as it is written on the credit card. Note, however, that special characters such as "ä", è, or ł are not accepted. Simply replace them with common letters (e.g. ä=ae; è=e; ł=l;).
        When you have entered your credit card information, you are asked to enter specific information including your street address, postal code, city, country, and email address. Click on "Continue" once you have entered all data.
      • Bank transfer selected as payment method:
        On the top of the page you need to choose if you want to order a Premium Scroll package for 1, 3, 6 or 12 Premium Scrolls. Move on to enter specific information including your name, street address, postal code, city, country, and email address. Note, however, that special characters such as "ä", è, or ł are not accepted. Please replace them with common letters (e.g. ä=ae; è=e; ł=l;). Click on "Continue" once you have entered all data.
      • Enter a game code:
        On the top of the page you need to select if you have a game code for 1, 3, 6 or 12 Premium Scrolls. Below enter the 20-digit code. Make sure to enter all letters and numbers correctly. Click on "Continue" once you have entered all data.
    3. Verification
      A summary of all entered data is shown on this page. For security reasons only the last 4 numbers of your credit card number are displayed. Please check carefully if all data has been entered correctly. If you find all data to be correct, you need to accept the Extended Tibia Service Agreement and the Tibia Privacy Policy by checking the corresponding boxes. Click on "Submit" to finalise your order.
    4. Order Result
      • Credit card selected as payment method:
        On this final page, you will learn whether or not your order was successful. If it was, you will be given the order reference number. This is an important number you will need whenever you have a request concerning your order. For this reason we recommend you write it down, even though it is also sent to you via email along with a comprehensive order summary.
        Please allow some time for the Premium Scrolls to be assigned to your account. If they are not assigned immediately, please do not start another attempt to order as you might make two separate orders without wanting to. Note that the verification of your payment can take up to 3 days.
      • Bank transfer selected as payment method:
        On this final page, you will learn whether or not your order was successful. You will receive the reference number of your order, the payment details, and the payment identification. It is very important that the payment identification is included as reason for the payment, as the processing of your payment will be delayed or even fail without this number.
        All information will be sent to you via email. You can also look it up in the billing information section of your account page as long as you have not paid or cancelled the order. Note that you cannot order further Premium Scroll packages as long as you have an unpaid order in your account.
      • Game code entered:
        On this final page, you will learn whether or not have entered the code correctly. If everything is correct, the Premium Scrolls are assigned to your account time. Note, if you enter 5 wrong or already used game codes in a row, your account will be blocked for game codes.
    b) Setting Up a Subscription
    A subscription is an agreement in which you allow us to charge your credit card automatically on a regular basis in order to provide you with Premium Scrolls for your Tibia account. Premium Scrolls ordered this way are activated automatically, as the main purpose of subscriptions is to ensure that a Tibia account never loses its premium status while the subscription lasts. Note that you can only set up subscriptions for accounts you own.
    Depending on the Premium Scroll package you have chosen, we will charge your credit card for the selected number of Premium Scrolls automatically and in due time whenever your premium time runs out. You will receive an email notification about the continuation of your subscription every time a new payment is due. The notification will be sent before the payment is charged. You can cancel your current subscription on your account page at all times. Note that cancelling a subscription does not affect payments that have already been charged.

    To set up a subscription, simply log into your account page and click on "Add Premium Scrolls" in the billing information section.
    1. Select Product
      On this page you will be asked to select the Premium Scrolls package you would like to buy and to specify your desired payment method. To set up a subscription, select your desired type of subscription in the radio menu, then choose your preferred payment method by clicking onto the corresponding symbol in the box below. Please note that subscriptions can only be paid for using a credit card.
    2. Order Data
      On the top of the page you need to choose at which intervals you would like us to charge your credit card. You can choose between periods of 30 and 90 days, depending on whether you select packages of 1 or 3 Premium Scrolls each. Enter number, expiry date and verification code of your credit card. In case you do not know what a verification code is, click on "info" for further information. Finally, enter the name of the card holder as it is written on the credit card. Note, however, that special characters such as "ä", è, or ł are not accepted. Please replace them with common letters (e.g. ä=ae; è=e; ł=l;).
      When you have entered your credit card information, you are asked to enter specific information including your street address, postal code, city, country, and email address. Click on "Continue" once you have entered all data.
    3. Verification

    c) Ordering a Paid Extra Service
    The following extra services are currently available:
    • Character world transfer for a fee of € 19.95
    • Character name change for a fee of € 6.95
    • Account name change for a fee of € 4.95
    • Character sex change for a fee of € 2.95
    At the moment, extra services can only be paid by credit card, bank transfer if available for your country or via a reseller. Unless you pay via a reseller, you can only pay after you have ordered the desired extra service. You can pay by clicking on "Purchase" once you have completed your order. You can also start the payment procedure by clicking on "view" beside the corresponding entry in the "Extra Services" section on your account page and then select "Purchase".

    1. Payment Method
      Here you can choose the credit card you would like to pay with or, alternatively, select to pay by using a game code. At the moment you can choose between Visa, MasterCard and American Express. French players have the additional choice to pay with Carte Bleue.
      Note: If credit card payments are blocked for your account, you can only pay via a reseller for an extra service or use a game code.
      If bank transfers are available for your country, you can also select this payment method here if you want to transfer your character to another game world.
    2. Order Data

        At the top of the page you need to select that you want to purchase the displayed extra service. Enter number, expiry date and verification code of your credit card.         At the top of the page you need to select the paid extra service for which you have bought a game code. Enter the 20-digit code below. Make sure to enter all letters and numbers correctly. Click on "Continue" once you have entered all data.
    3. Verification
      A summary of all entered data is shown on this page. For security reasons only the last 4 numbers of your credit card number are displayed. Please check carefully if all data has been entered correctly. Click on "Submit" to finalise your order.
    4. Order Result

    7.3.2 Payments via Element 5
    Tibia Premium Scroll packages can also be ordered via element 5. To do so, log into your account and select "Add Premium Scrolls". Tick the button for "Single Payment" to order a Premium Scroll package via element 5. On the next page select "other methods" and click on "Continue". To successfully order Premium Scroll packages there, you must agree to our Extended Service Agreements and enter all required information in the interface. It is possible to order Premium Scroll packages both for yourself as well as for friends. However, keep in mind that Premium Scroll packages can only be bought for registered accounts.
    When ordering you should always keep in mind that payments for premium time made via element 5 are not processed by CipSoft itself, but by our payment partner element 5, a payment service of Digital River. For this reason payments must be sent to Digital River rather than to CipSoft. Once Digital River has confirmed a payment, CipSoft will be notified and the corresponding Premium Scroll package will be assigned to the account for which it has been bought. The Premium Scrolls will be assigned the next time the holder of the account logs into the game. However, if the Premium Scroll package has been ordered and paid for by somebody else the account user must accept it first on the account page.
    Note: Premium Scroll packages ordered via element 5 will never be extended automatically. If the existing premium time runs out, the corresponding account is set to free status and all additional premium features are suspended. It is recommended that you always order and activate new Premium Scrolls in time to avoid problems such as lost houses.

    In the following you will find a detailed description on how to order and pay for Premium Scroll packages after having selected "other methods":
    1. Welcome Page
      This page contains general information on Premium Scroll package orders such as lists of prices and available payment methods as well as some notes concerning legal limitations on ordering. To start the ordering process simply click on "Continue".
    2. Accept Terms
      Firstly, you will be asked to accept the Extended Tibia Service Agreement, the Tibia Rules and the Tibia Privacy Policy. You should read them carefully before accepting them by ticking the corresponding boxes below. To proceed with your order, please press "I Agree". If you feel you would rather not accept those terms, you can break off the ordering process by clicking on "Cancel".
    3. Specify Age, Recipient and Product
      Next, you will be asked to enter your age. Note that if you are underage, you must have the permission of your parents or legal guardians to order. Also, this is where you can specify the recipient of the Premium Scroll package you are about to order:
      • If you wish to order a Premium Scroll package for yourself, you will be asked to enter your account name and password. Also, you must select the Premium Scroll package you would like to buy. Once you have entered the required data and clicked on "Submit" all given information will be displayed again so you can double-check the data you have entered. If all information is correct, click on "Continue" to confirm.
      • If you wish to order a Premium Scroll package for a friend, enter the name of one character on the account to which you want the Premium Scrolls to be assigned. Also, you can enter your name and a personal comment to let the recipient know your name and the cause of this happy surprise. Please make sure to give correct and comprehensible data here because we advise all players not to accept Premium Scroll packages paid by others if they do not know who sent them and why. Do not forget to specify the Premium Scroll package you would like to enter. Once you have submitted your order, a confirmation page will be displayed where you can review your entries. If you are satisfied with the data you have given, click on "Continue" to confirm.
        Note: The name of one character on an account is all that is ever needed to buy a Premium Scroll package for somebody else. If somebody else is buying a Premium Scroll package for you, make sure not to give him any further information. Remember you must keep your account data confidential at all times!
    4. Payment Information
      Once you have confirmed the order data you will proceed to a secure page by element 5 where you can enter your payment information. You will be asked to enter specific information such as your first and last name, street address, postal code, city of residence, and email address. Also, you can determine a payment method and choose the billing currency. If you have questions, you should click on the little "Info" buttons provided on this page.
      When filling out the form on this page please keep in mind the following points:
      • The payment page is available in 11 different languages: English, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French, Norwegian, Dutch, Swedish, Finnish and Danish. To translate this page into the language of your choice use the language option at the top left hand corner of the page.
      • The name and product number of the ordered Premium Scroll package will be displayed at the top of the page along with the quantity of ordered Premium Scrolls. The default setting for quantity is 1, and it cannot be changed. If you would like to order 2 Premium Scroll packages, you must perform 2 individual orders.
      • The prices given are always gross prices, so you do not need to pay extra money for value added tax (VAT). You can find out the amount of money you have to pay by selecting the currency of your choice on the website. Also, keep in mind that if you have chosen bank transfer as payment method, the involved banks may charge an extra fee from you, so the net amount of money you must pay may increase.
      • If you select "Credit Card" or "Debit Card" as payment method, you will be asked to enter your card's information on an extra page. If you pay via "PayPal", you will be redirected to PayPal's website to enter your PayPal account data or to open an account. You need not worry about security - the whole page is a secure area that is well protected against unwanted meddling. For details please see our partner element 5's privacy policy.
    5. Payment Data Review Page
      Once you have filled in the form a review page will be displayed in which you can check the payment information, including the billing address, shipping address, selected payment method and billing currency, and the product number of the Premium Scroll package you are about to order. Note that the billing address and the shipping address will be identical, even if you have ordered a Premium Scroll package for a friend rather than for yourself. If you detect an error in your order, press "Edit" to change any incorrect data. You can also subscribe to element 5's newsletter on this page. Finally, you have to accept the terms and conditions by ticking the box on the bottom of the page. If you are satisfied with the payment information you have given, click on the "Order" button to finalise the ordering process.
    6. Confirmation Page
      On this final page, element 5 confirms your order, provided that everything has worked well. You will receive the reference number of your order and information on how to pay if you have chosen another payment method than credit card. Also, you will get the information via email. If the Premium Scrolls are not assigned immediately, please do not start another attempt to order a Premium Scroll package, as you may make 2 separate orders without wanting to. Please keep in mind that the purchased Premium Scrolls will not be available until your payment is confirmed by element 5. Please allow some time for this to happen. Depending on the chosen payment method as well as your location it can take up to three weeks until your payment has arrived, especially if you have paid by bank transfer. Payments made by credit card or PayPal are normally processed within 24 hours. Finally, please note that you will always need the order reference number if you have a request concerning your order.

    7.4 Account Registration

    Tibia accounts can be registered. Registrations are not mandatory, but there are good reasons to register your account:

    a) Why Should I Register my Account?
    Registration provides additional security to your account. More precisely, a registered account offers several important advantages:
    • Ordering Premium Scroll Packages
      You can only order Premium Scroll packages for your account if it is registered.
    • Tutorship
      You can only become a tutor if your account is registered. For details on how to become a tutor please take a look at the tutor guide.
    • Recovery Key
      Once you have successfully registered your account, you will receive your recovery key. This key is very important because players who have the correct recovery key can instantly assign accounts to new email addresses by using the Lost Account Interface. For this reason the possession of a recovery key will give you total control of your account.
    • Improved Account Recovery
      Registering an account greatly enhances the chance to get it back in case of loss. Registered users can request that account data is sent to them by postal mail if all other attempts to recover their accounts fail. Needless to say, the data given in the registration must be correct and complete to make sure the letter reaches its destination. Also, please understand that a fee must be charged for this service.
    b) How to Register Your Account
    To register your account, click on the button "Register Account" on the account page. An entry page will open up which will give you some explanations concerning the registration process. Click on "Continue" to proceed to the registration form and enter your name, address, date of birth and gender there. Make sure to enter correct and complete data to ensure that letters that are sent to this address will reach you. Keep in mind that in case of loss you will not be able to get a new recovery key if our letters cannot reach you.
    Note: The data given in the registration will be used exclusively for sending recovery letters and compiling internal statistical surveys. It will be treated in a strictly confidential manner. For details please see the Tibia Privacy Policy.
    Once you have confirmed the entered data on the following confirmation page a recovery key will be displayed. Write it down carefully on a piece of paper and store it in a safe place. Note that for reasons of security the recovery key will only be displayed once and it will not be sent by email, so you should really make sure you write it down!

    c) Changing Account Registration Data
    With the exception of the gender and the date of birth, all data that can be entered in the registration can be edited at a later point of time. To change your account registration data click on the "Edit" button and change the data in the following Change Registration Data interface.
    Once the request to change the account data has been confirmed a note will be displayed on top of the account page. Also, an email will be sent to you to remind you that the registration data of your Tibia account is about to be changed. The change of the registration data cannot be finalised until a waiting period of 30 days has passed. During this period the change can be aborted anytime by viewing the registration data and clicking on the "Edit" button. Once the waiting period has passed the holder of the account must again confirm the changes of the registration data to finalise the process.
