Can I use the map from the stand-alone client for the Flash client?
Yes, you can. To do so, you must export the map from the stand-alone client and import it into the Flash client. To export the map, log into the stand-alone client, open the "Options" menu in the start screen and select "Export". A save dialog will open. Specify the path under which you would like to save the export file. The default path is Under Windows Vista and Windows 7:C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Tibia\Tibia.expUnder Windows XP:C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\Tibia\Tibia.exp
Please note that [USERNAME]
is the name that you entered at the login screen of your operating system, and that directory names can be localised (German, Spanish, Polish, etc.). Moreover, note that those directories are "hidden", so please make sure to change the settings of your Windows Explorer to "Show All Files" before looking for the file. Users of Windows 7 and Vista can also enter "%APPDATA%\Tibia" in their Windows Explorer to directly enter the directory where the map file is saved.
Once you have created the export file, you must migrate it to the Flash client. To do so, log into your account on the website and find the section "Migration Tool". Click on the button in the box to enter the migration tool menu. There, click on the button "Load Tibia export file" to load the export file into the migration tool. Once you have done this, the button labelled "Migrate Automap" will become available. Now all you need to do is to click on this button and to wait for the migration process to be completed.
