There is a character with a very disturbing name. How can I report it?
If you see a character that has a name that really disturbs you and that violates the Tibia Rules, you can report it. To do so you need to open the report dialogue box by clicking Ctrl+J or by right-clicking on the character and selecting "Report Offence".
- On the first page, check if you have selected the correct character, or, if the field is still empty, enter the character name you would like to report. Note that you can only report characters from your own game world.
- On the next page, please select the Tibia Rule which the character is violating. If the name does not fit into one of the given categories, do not report it. If in doubt whether a character name is illegal, do not report it.
- If you report a non-English name, please offer a translation in the first field. In the second field, you must enter a comment with additional information on why you are reporting this character name.
- Please check if you have entered everything correctly. Click on "Submit" to send your report to customer support.
Customer support will check your report and either accept or reject the name report. You can check the result of your report on your account page under Rule Violation Reports.
Note: You may only have 2 pending reports at a time. A report is set on pending until customer support has processed it.
Also, you can only report if you do not have 4 rejected reports within the last 30 days. Further, 3 rejected reports within the last 30 days plus one additional pending report will also exclude you from further reports.
