Every Tibia player must have an account. Tibia accounts are like personal registers that help players to organise their activities in Tibia. If you have not done yet, please create an account
first. Each account has its own account page on the official website. The holder of the account can access the corresponding account page anytime by clicking on the "Login" button on the left hand side of the website. A login dialog will appear in which the email address and password must be entered. Once the login is completed the characters page will be displayed. To go to other sections of your account page, click on "Manage Account". There, the account page is again divided into different sections. On top of your account page you find a navigation box containing links that allow you to quickly jump to the various sections.
Players who are new to Tibia will find 2 important hints on the top of their character's page. One asks you to confirm your account
. The other one reminds you to register your account. Players are strongly advised to register their accounts as it is an important security feature. Note that accounts represent real value, especially if there are characters of medium or high level on them. For this reason accounts are protected by a number of safety features. Players should take some basic precautions to protect their accounts. If you would like to know more, we strongly recommend you read the security hints
7.1 Notes on Account Data
In order to access the game and to manage your account so-called account data is required. There are several distinct kinds of account data, 2 of which are created during account creation
: the assigned email address and the first password. This data can be changed later on. Also, once you have confirmed your account, you will get a recovery key, which is also an important kind of account data.
Important: Keep a wary eye on your account data at all times! If somebody else gets access to your account data, your account may be stolen or damaged in some other way!
The password is a code players must enter when logging into Tibia. Passwords must be combinations of letters and figures which consist of a minimum of 8 digits. Players can easily change their password anytime by using the "Change password" option on the account page. Unlike changes of the account email address, changes of passwords take effect immediately. Note that passwords should be secure - ideally they should contain a mix of upper and lower case letters, numbers and special symbols. If you have forgotten your password, you can use the Lost Account Interface to request a new one. The new password will be sent to the account email address.
- Email Address
This is the email address to which the Tibia account is assigned. The account email address is extremely important because it is the key to the account it is assigned to. You need to enter it whenever you want to log in the website or the game. Moreover, a player who has lost the password can still get the account back by using the Lost Account Interface, provided he has access to the email address. Note that only one Tibia account can be assigned to one email address at a time. It is possible to reassign the account to a different email address later on.
- Account Confirmation and Recovery Key
To be able to use all features of a Tibia account, you need to confirm your account. To do so, follow the link which has been sent to your email address upon creating your account. In case the email has not arrived or your deleted it, you can request a new one via your account page. You can also enter another email address there in case you cannot receive our emails at the address you have entered first.
Once you have followed the link in the email, your recovery key will be displayed. A recovery key is a very important security feature. This 20-digit recovery key can be used to instantly register accounts to new email addresses by using the Lost Account Interface. Moreover, it is needed to link or unlink an account with/from an authenticator.
In order to get a valid recovery key, you will need to write it on a piece of paper first. On the next page, you will have to enter it to make sure that you have written it down correctly. Only after you have entered your recovery key successfully, your account will be confirmed and your recovery key becomes valid.
7.2 Account Management
Account management is done via the account page. Once you have logged into your account, you see the sections "Account Status", "Download Client" and "Characters". Clicking on the button "Manage Account" on the top of the page, will bring you to your second Account Management page which contains several more sections. On top of the second page you find a navigation box which contains links to quickly jump to the various sections.
All possible sections of your two Account Management pages are explained below.
7.2.1 Account Status
In this section, you will be informed whether your account has Premium or free status. If your account has Premium status, it will also be shown when your Premium Time expires. Further, you will be informed here if you have not confirmed your account yet, if a ticket answer from customer support is waiting for you, or if your account has a new entry in the rule violation record.
Also there are three buttons on the right-hand side of this box:
7.2.2 Download Client
- "Manage Account": brings you to your second Account Management page
- "Get Premium" (only shown if your account has no Premium status or your Premium is about to run out in a few days): leads you to the ordering section for Premium Time, Tibia Coins and Extra Services
- "Logout" - logs you out from your account on the website
You must log in successfully before you can access your account page again. Note that characters will automatically log out from the website if they have been inactive for 45 minutes.
Here you find a link which leads to our download section from where you can download the latest Tibia client.
In this section you find important information about current or upcoming Tournaments. If you click on the button "Tournament", you will get to a page where you can see your personal Tournament information such as your Tournament Coins, any possible vouchers and your Tournament characters. Below you will find all details concerning the current or upcoming Tournament, such as the set rules, scores and rewards.
The characters section is shown to you whenever you log in your account. The list shows the name (including also vocation, level, owned houses and guild memberships), game world and status of each character, with "Status" indicating whether or not a character is hidden. Also, you will find the links "Edit" and "Delete"/"Undelete" behind the character you have currently selected. On top you find your regular characters and below your Tournament characters. Note that you can only have one character for each Tournament game world type.
a) Click on "Delete"/"Undelete" to remove a character from an account or to keep a character you have recently deleted:
- Delete Character
This option can be used to delete characters. If you would like to remove one or more characters from your account, click on this button, and confirm your decision by entering the valid account password. Character deletions are not finalised until 60 days have passed, so you have 2 months to change your mind. During this period of time deletions can be cancelled by clicking on the button "Undelete Character". Keep in mind, however, that characters are permanently deleted once the 2-month period is finished, and there is no way to restore them!
Characters who are set for deletion do not count as active, so they are not considered for the calculation of the character limit. Thus, if there are 20 active characters on your account and you set one of them for deletion, you may create one new character. However, if you do that, you cannot undelete the character who is set for deletion because the limit of 20 active characters can never be exceeded. To undelete that character you must set another active character for deletion first. Please note that the total of active and deleted characters may not exceed 25.
Note: Please understand that names of deleted characters cannot be chosen for new characters for at least six months.
- Undelete Character
If you have set a character on deletion, you have 60 days to rethink your decision. If you decide rather not to delete a character, you can click on the button "Undelete Character". Simply click on "Submit" and you can use your character just like before you deleted it. Note, however, that all characters that have not been undeleted during these 60 days are deleted for good and cannot be recovered.
b) Click on "Edit" to see or edit the following character information:
Here you can see your character's name, game world, sex, house, guild and guild applications.
If your character has died in the last 30 days, you can see here when this unfortunate event took place and by whom or what your character was killed.
There is no entry displayed if your character has not died in the game recently.
If you have killed another character in the last 10 weeks, you can see here the name of your opponent and the date and time you defeated this unlucky fellow. Also you find information whether this kill was ok, unjustified, assisted, or war related. Note that too many unjustified kills on open PvP game worlds can lead to a red or a black skull
which are connected with harsh sanctions in the game.
There is no entry displayed if your character has not killed another character in the game recently.
Edit Character Information
a) Hide Account
: If the box is not checked, the character can be viewed normally by any other player on the character information
page. However, if the box is ticked, the character will be hidden, and other players will only see basic information such as the character name, sex, etc. when looking at the corresponding character information page. Most importantly, all other characters on the account will be hidden.
Note that a character with a locked name is always hidden.
: Any comment that is entered in this box will be displayed whenever a player views the character on the website.
c) Forum Signature
: Text entered in this box will be attached to any message this character posts in the forum
. Note that signatures must not exceed 4 lines of text with a total of 200 letters.
Please note that any texts entered in these fields can be seen by the whole community, so offensive statements or admitting of other violations of the Tibia Rules
will be punished accordingly.
Display Character Achievements
On the bottom of this page, you find a list of all regular achievements
as well as all secret achievements that you have already discovered with a character of this account. Achievements that you have not accomplished yet with a character of your account are greyed out. You can select up to 5 earned achievements you would like to display on your character page. To do so, simply tick the box beside the achievements you want to show. Note that you can also select achievements you have accomplished with other characters of this account.
In addition to the editing of individual characters the following options are available in the character section:
7.2.5 General Information
- Create Character
New characters can be created by clicking on this button. For details please see the section on character creation. Note that each account can hold a maximum of 20 active characters + 2 Tournament characters. If you would like to create further characters, you must delete at least one existing character first.
This section includes general account information such as the assigned email address, the date when the account was created, and the current account status, i.e. whether or not Premium Time is currently assigned to this account or the date when your last Premium Time period has expired. Also, the date of your last login, either to the account page or into the game, will be given. Further, you can check the Tibia Coins
and Tournament Coins
you own on this account. What is more, your loyalty points
and loyalty title are shown here including the number of loyalty points that are needed to earn the next title. If your account holds a certain position in Tibia, it will also be shown here. Finally, if there is one or more active entries in your rule violation record
, the account's conduct level
is displayed in this box.
The following options are available in this section:
- Change Password
By using this option, players can change the account password. To do so the current as well as the future password must be entered. Contrary to the process of changing the assigned email address password changes are instantaneous.
- Change Email
Note that this button is not available as long as your account is unconfirmed.
Players can initiate a change of the assigned email address by using this option. To confirm the change a new email address as well as the valid password must be entered. Note that accounts cannot be assigned to email addresses that are already assigned to a different Tibia account. For reasons of security email changes are not performed immediately. In fact, changes of email addresses take 30 days to take effect. During this period the process can be cancelled anytime. To make sure the account holder does not forget about the pending email change a note will be added on top of the account page. Also, an automatic email containing a warning about the upcoming email change is sent to the old email address. When the 30 days have passed players will be asked once more to confirm the email change. If the change is confirmed, the Tibia account is reassigned to the new email address, and a new password is sent to this address. Players must log into the game within 24 hours using this new password. If they fail to do so, the change of the email address is cancelled, and they can log in normally using their last valid password.
Note that the process of re-registering accounts to new email addresses can be sped up by using the Lost Account Interface. However, to do so a player must have the valid recovery key. Email changes that have been performed using the recovery key are instantaneous.
- Terminate Account
If you would like to delete your Tibia account, you need to click on this button. All of your characters are then scheduled for deletion at once. Note that it takes 2-3 months until the account is deleted for good. Until the deletion is final, you can still reverse the termination by undeleting one of your characters on this account. To do so, click on "Undelete Character" in the Characters section and follow the instructions.
You can use this option to invite your friends to play Tibia with you or to ask retired players to join you in Tibia once more.
7.2.7 Loyalty Highscore Character
- Invite New Players
Invite your friends to join you in Tibia! You can do so via a link, which you can also send via Facebook or your friend's email address. You can use this link to invite as many friends as you like, but note that you cannot send more than 25 emails within 24 hours. If your friend does not receive the email, you can send an email again 14 days after your first attempt.
If one of your friends follows the link and creates an account from this link, you as well as your friend can earn a reward. As a welcome gift, your friend will receive a mount which can be used on the first 3 characters on the account within the first 7 days after account creation. If your friend buys a product in the Webshop, you will receive the Recruiter Outfit. By inviting more new players who also purchase a product in the Webshop, you can even earn addons for this outfit. What is more, you will also receive one loyalty point for every six loyalty points your invited friend receives for having Premium status.
- Bring Back a Buddy
If you miss that special friend of yore with whom you share so many fond memories, why don't you drop him a line and ask him to come back? Simply select the character that you like to use to invite your friend and enter your friend's character name. Once you have clicked on "Invite Friend", an automatic email will be sent to your buddy's registered email account inviting your buddy back in your name.
If your friend decides to come back to play, he will receive a little welcome back present on the first character that is used to log into Tibia. Even better, if your friend decides to buy Premium Time within 90 days after you sent the invitation, you will receive free Premium Time - either 5 days if your friend buys 30 days Premium Time, or 10 days if your friend buys at least 90 days Premium Time.
Note: You can only invite buddies that have not logged into the game or on the official website during the last 12 months. Further, you cannot send more than 20 invitations within 30 days.
If you have earned yourself a place in the Loyalty Highscores, you can select here which of your characters should be displayed there. If no character is selected or the selected character has been deleted, the character with the highest level on an account and that is not hidden will be shown in the highscore list. Characters which are hidden cannot be selected. Also, if all of your characters are hidden, you will not appear in the Loyalty Highscores at all.
Note you will always appear in the Loyalty Highscores of the game world your selected character belongs to.
7.2.8 Products Available - Premium Time, Tibia Coins, Extra Service, Use Game Code
In this section, you can order various products in the Tibia Webshop or redeem a game code to enhance your Tibia experience even further:
7.2.9 Products Ready To Use - Extra Services and Special Offers
- Premium Time
Tibia is a free game, and non-paying customers are welcome to play as often as they like. However, it is possible to order Premium Time to raise accounts to Premium status, which will unlock many additional Premium features inside and outside the game. Order Premium Time and enjoy the full Tibia experience today! To order Premium Time for your own account, simply click on the "Get Premium Time" button and follow the instructions. For details please see the manual section explaining the order process.
- Tibia Coins
Tibia Coins are a special currency in Tibia that are needed to purchase products in the Store. All character-based Extra Services such as Character World Transfers, Character Name Changes as well as Mounts, Outfits, Blessings, XP Boosts, special House Equipment, Runes, Potions, and other Useful Things can be bought ingame with Tibia Coins. Even Premium Time can be purchased with this ingame currency. Tibia Coins are available in packages of various sizes. For details please see the manual section explaining the order process.
- Extra Service: Recovery Key
In case you have lost your recovery key, you can order a new one here. Keep in mind that a recovery key is a very important security feature for your account. Whoever has the recover key can instantly change the account's email address and with that gain access to the account.
- Use Game Codes
Here you can redeem a game code which you have bought from one of our official resellers. To do so, enter the 20-digit code. Make sure to enter all letters and numbers correctly. Click on "Next" once you have entered all data. If you have entered a valid and correct game code, the code will be shown to you once more on the next page together with the service for which the game code is valid. If everything is correct, please click on "Next" again. Your game code has now been activated. Click on "Continue" to get back to your Account Management page.
In this section you can manage various products which you have already purchased or gained. If you did not set up or buy a product which needs further attention, the message "You currently have no products available to use." will be displayed.
- Extra Services
This section shows a record of all open Extra Services. (Express) Character World Transfer are possible open Extra Services. If you have already paid for an Extra Service or received a voucher for it but have not used it yet, you will find a corresponding entry in the section: Purchased Extra Service ready to use! In the list below, you will find all Extra Services which you have set up. Already paid Extra Services are marked by an exclamation mark, while Extra Services which have not been paid, yet, are marked by a question mark. At the end of each entry, you will find the link "View". Click on it to get more information on this entry, to withdraw an unpaid order ("Terminate Service"), to enter data for an open voucher ("Edit"), to pay an unpaid order ("Purchase"), or to edit an unpaid requested Extra Service ("Edit").
- Purchased Items
If you have bought a mount or an outfit which has not been converted into Tibia Coins with the release of the Store, it will be listed here. To assign the product to one of your characters, please click on "View". Select a character to which the product should be assigned and click on "Continue". Confirm that you have selected the correct character and click on "Continue". The mount or outfit has now been assigned to your chosen character and will be available for you ingame after your next login.
- Special Offer
If you have bought or received a special offer which included some reward like a mount or a special outfit, you will also find an entry here. To assign your reward to one of your characters, please click on "View". Select a character to which the reward should be assigned and click on "Continue". Confirm that you have selected the correct character and click on "Continue". The reward has now been assigned to your chosen character and will be available for you ingame after your next login.
This section shows a record of all services which have ever been ordered for your account.
7.2.11 Rule Violation Reports
- Premium History
This history shows you a list of all purchased Premium Time for your account and when it has been or will be used. It also includes all Premium Scrolls (no longer available) which have been bought in the past. Moreover, all refunds or chargebacks for Premium Time or Premium Scrolls are listed here. Finally, Premium Time that you have received as compensation or voucher will also be listed here.
As long as you have not bought any Premium Time, the message "No entries yet." is displayed.
- Payments History
This history shows all payments and payment attempts that have been made for your account. Also if you like to withdraw an unpaid bank transfer order, or look up the payment details for an unpaid bank transfer order (Show), this is the right place to do it.
As long as you have not set up or paid any order for Premium Time, Tibia Coins or an Extra Service, the message "You did not place any order until now." is displayed.
- Coins History
In this section you see a list of all of your Tibia Coins and Tournament Coins transactions. Whether you have bought Tibia Coins via the Webshop, earned Tournament Coins ingame, purchased something in the Store for Tibia or Tournament Coins, gifted or received Tibia Coins to or from another character, or sold or bought Tibia Coins via the Market - everything that adds or subtracts Coins will be shown here. All Coins that were added to your account are displayed in green, marked with a "plus" in front of it. Coins that were subtracted are shown in red, prefixed by a "minus".
Finally, also all products which are normally bought for Tibia Coins but which you have received for free, e.g. as compensation or prize, are listed here. You can also check your Coins History via the Store ingame.
If you never had any Tibia or Tournament Coins, this section is not displayed.
- Extra Services History
In this section you see all Extra Services which you have ever ordered or set up. Also if you have already paid for an Extra Service or received a voucher for it but have not used it yet, you will find a corresponding entry in this list. At the end of each entry, you will find the link "View". Click on it to get more information on this entry and to withdraw an unpaid order, to enter data for an open voucher, to pay an unpaid order, or to edit an unpaid requested Extra Service.
If you have not ordered an Extra Service, yet, this section is not displayed.
- Vouchers History
In this section you see all vouchers which you have ever received. At the end of each entry, you will find the link "View". Click on it to get more information on this entry.
If you have never received a voucher, this section is not displayed.
- Sales Campaigns Assignments History
In this section, you see all special offers which you have ever received in sales campaigns. If you have received a reward that you have not assigned, yet, you can click on "View" to assign your reward to one of your characters.
If you notice a name or guild title or rank which really disturbs you and that violates the Tibia Rules, if you see an ingame statement that violates the Tibia Rules, if you see a character that is using unofficial software (e.g. botting), if you see an illegal post, an illegal signature, or an illegal comment on a character's account page, you can make a report to customer support. All reports you have made in the last 30 days are displayed in this section. As long as customer support has not checked your report, the state of the report will be "pending". As soon as customer support has reviewed your report, the state will change to "processed".
Below your reports, you find a message which tells you how many more reports you have left. Note that you cannot have more than 20 pending reports at a time and that you will not be able to make any reports if you have made too many invalid reports in the last 30 days.
7.2.12 Rule Violation Record
If you have violated one or more of the Tibia Rules
, your account page will also contain a rule violation record. The rule violation record is a list on the account page that shows all confirmed rule violations made by characters from your account. If you cannot find a rule violation record on your account page, there is no entry yet. Entries in the rule violation record will show (from left to right) the date when the entry was made and the corresponding character name as well as the severity, stated reason and punishment of the rule violation. Note that the stated reason will clearly point out the rule that was violated. Please note that while conduct levels eventually decrease if no further rule violations are committed, entries in the rule violation record are never erased, even if they do not count for the conduct level.

7.2.13 Facebook Linkup
In this section you can either connect respectively disconnect your Tibia account and your Facebook profile or extend your newly created Tibia account. The button in this section changes depending on your account's state:
- Log in
This button appears whenever you are not logged in your Facebook profile. If you have a Facebook profile, "Log in" to see other options for your Tibia account in this section.
- Extend Account
You will see this button if you have created a Tibia account using your Facebook profile. It is highly recommended to extend your account in order to benefit from more Tibia features and to increase your account's security. After clicking on "Extend Account", you will be asked to enter a password for your Tibia account and to repeat it. It is recommended that you use different passwords for Facebook and your Tibia account. Click on "Submit" to extend your account. Once your account is extended, you can log into Tibia either via Facebook or via the Tibia login using your email address and your Tibia password.
To connect your Tibia account with your Facebook profile, simply click on "Connect". Once you have connected your Tibia account to Facebook and you are logged into Facebook, all you need to do is click on the "Facebook Login" button and you will be automatically brought to your account management page where you can select your character and start to play. There is no need to enter your email address or your Tibia password anymore.
Note that you can have only one Tibia account connected to your Facebook profile. To connect your Facebook profile to a different Tibia account, you need to remove the existing linkup first.
If you have connected your Tibia account with your Facebook profile, you can of course also remove this linkup at any time. Simply click on "Remove" and your Tibia account will no longer be connected to your Facebook profile.
This section of the account page shows the data that has been entered during the account registration process. The data includes the first and last name of the person to whom the account is registered along with the address, mobile phone number, nationality, date of birth and gender. Of course, no data will be displayed if the account has not been registered yet.
- Register Account
Clicking on this button will start the account registration process. It is displayed as long as the account is not registered.
This option is only available on registered accounts. It is used to change the data given in the registration. Note, however, that some registration data such as the gender and the date of birth cannot be changed after the original registration.

7.2.15 Two-Factor Authentication
In this section you can either connect your Tibia account to an authenticator or unlink your Tibia account from an authenticator. An authenticator offers players an additional layer of security to help prevent unauthorised account access. If your account is connected to an authenticator, you will be asked to enter a valid authenticator token in addition to your email address and password whenever you try to log into the game or the Tibia website. In Tibia players can choose between two methods: Two-Factor Authenticator App and Two-Factor Email Code Authentication. However, accounts can only be connected to one authentication method.
a) Two-Factor Authenticator App
1. Before you connect your Tibia account to an authenticator app, you have to enter the recovery key for the account to prove that you have it. It is very important that you have the recovery key because in case your mobile phone breaks or gets lost, the recovery key is the only way to disconnect your Tibia account from the authenticator.
2. It is also important to use an authenticator app on a different device than the one you are playing Tibia on. An authenticator on the computer you use for playing Tibia will not help you to protect your account if somebody gains access to your computer.
To connect your Tibia account to an authenticator app, simply download the authenticator app of your choice to your device, e.g. e.g. Google Authenticator
. Log into your account and connect your authenticator app to your Tibia account. The buttons in this section vary according to your account's stage in the process of connecting your account to an authenticator:
b) Two-Factor Email Code Authentication
- Request: If this button is displayed, your account is not connected to an authenticator. Click on it to start the process of connecting your account to an authenticator.
- Confirm/Cancel/Re-request Email: If these buttons are displayed, you have already started the process of connecting your account to an authenticator. Click on "Confirm" to continue this process, or on "Cancel" if you do not want to connect your account to an authenticator anymore. Click on "Re-request Email" in case you did not receive the email with the confirmation code for some reason.
- Link/Cancel: If these buttons are displayed, you have already started the process of connecting your account to an authenticator. Click on "Link" to continue this process, or on "Cancel" if you do not want to connect your account to an authenticator anymore.
- Unlink: If this button is displayed, your account is connected to an authenticator. If you do not want to use an authenticator app any longer or prefer to use two-factor email code authentication, you can "Unlink" the authenticator app. Note, however, an authenticator is an important security feature which helps to prevent any unauthorised access to your Tibia account.
To connect your Tibia Account to two-factor email code authentication, simply click on "Request". An email code will be sent to the email address assigned to your account. Enter this email code in the required field within 24 hours. The buttons in this section vary according to your account's stage in the process of connecting your account to an authenticator:
7.2.16 Email Notifications
- Request: If this button is displayed, your account is not connected to an authenticator. Click on it to start the process of connecting your account to an authenticator.
- Enter Email Code: If this button is displayed, you have already started the process of connecting your account to an authenticator. Click on "Enter Email Code" to enter the code you have received by email. In case our email did not reach you for some reason, click on "Resend Email Code" on the next page.
- Deactivate: If this button is displayed, your account is connected to a two-factor email code authentication. If you do not want to use an authenticator any longer or prefer to use an authenticator app, you can "Deactivate" two-factor email code authentication. In case you have lost access to the account's email address, you will need your recovery key to unlink your account from two-factor email code authentication. Note, however, an authenticator is an important security feature which helps to prevent any unauthorised access to your Tibia account.
In this section you can decide whether you like to be informed by email whenever Tibia has special offers, particularly for people who have no played Tibia in a long time. If you unsubscribe to this service, you will not receive any emails of this kind.
If you already contacted customer support about a problem, the tickets will be displayed here. An unread ticket will be marked by a light bulb. Tickets will be displayed for 180 days counting from the day of the last reply.
7.3 Ordering Premium Time, Tibia Coins or a Recovery Key
In the Tibia Webshop you can order Tibia Coins packages (transferable
or initially non-transferable) of 250, 750, 1500, 3000 or 4500 Tibia Coins, Premium Time for 30, 90, 180 or 360 days or the Extra Service: recovery key. The Webshop offers various payment methods depending on your country and the product you would like to purchase. To find out which payment methods are available for your country, please log into your account and start the ordering process. As soon as you have selected your country and the product you would like to purchase, you will see all payment methods available for this purchase.
Further, you can pay via one of our official resellers

A word on prices:
- The prices for the single products may vary depending on the payment method you have selected.
- All prices are shown in the currency of the country you have selected. Prices which are not shown in Euro vary depending on the current exchange rate.
- Also, please keep in mind that resellers are allowed to set their own prices.
In the following you will find a detailed description on how to order and pay for Tibia Coin packages, Premium Time, or a recovery key via the Webshop.
- Select service
Once you have logged into your account click on "Get Premium", "Get Premium Time", "Get Tibia Coins" or "Get Extra Service". If no country is preselected or to correct the shown country, please use the drop-down menu. Once you have selected a country, you are able to select a product and a payment method. You will see 4 different tabs: Tibia Coins (transferable), Tibia Coins (initially non-transferable), Premium Time and Extra Services. Select Tibia Coins (initially non-transferable) to buy services and products from the Store (except for casks), or Tibia Coins (transferable) to sell them in the Market, to purchase casks from the Store or to gift Tibia Coins to other characters. Choose Premium Time to buy Premium Time for your own account. Select the last tab to buy a recovery key.
Next choose a payment method. Keep in mind that the available payment methods vary depending on your country and the product you have selected.
Click on "Next". If you have selected "Reseller" as payment method, you will now get a list of available resellers for your country. For all other payment methods, you now need to enter your payment data.

You will now be asked to enter payment data depending on the payment method you have selected.
A word on recovery keys:
- Credit card selected as payment method:
First you need to enter the cardholder's name as it is written on the credit card, the cardholder's street address, postal code, city, state, and email address. Note that the country can only be changed on the previous page. Finally, select which kind of credit card you want to use and enter card number, expiry date and verification code of your credit card. In case you do not know what a verification code is, click on "the little quotation mark" for further information.
Click on "Next" once you have entered all data.
- Bank transfer or PayPal selected as payment method:
Enter specific information including your name, street address, postal code, city, state, and email address. Note that the country can only be changed on the previous page. Click on "Next" once you have entered all data.
- Other payment methods:
There are many more possible payment methods. Simply follow the instructions.
- Please note that the letter for a new recovery key will NOT be sent to the address you enter here. The letter will be sent to the address in the account registration.
- Further, players who have entered a valid mobile phone number, will receive a recovery TAN via SMS text message whenever they order a new recovery key. The recovery TAN can be used to change the email address of an account. Note that the recovery TAN is only valid for 24 hours and can only be used once.
- Confirm your order
- Credit card selected as payment method:
On this final page, you will learn whether or not your order has been processed successfully. Please allow some time until the bought service has been assigned to your account. If they are not assigned immediately, please do not start another attempt to order as you might make two separate orders without wanting to. Note that the verification of your payment can take up to 3 days.
- Bank transfer selected as payment method:
On this final page, you will learn whether or not your order was successful. You will receive the payment details, and the number you need to enter as reason for the payment. It is very important that you include the reason for the payment when you transfer the money, as the processing of your payment will be delayed or even fail without this number.
All information will be sent to you via email. You can also look it up in the Payments History section of your account page as long as you have not paid or withdrawn the order.
7.4 Loyalty System
Players who have had Premium Time on their account for a longer period of time benefit from one or more of the features of our loyalty system.
Every already used Premium day on an account equals one loyalty point. Thereby all Premium Time on an account is taken into account including, among others, vouchers, Premium Time you received from a friend, compensation or Premium Time rewards. Not included is Premium Time you have bought for a friend's account as the Premium Time only counts towards your friend's account.
Players can see their loyalty points on their account page under General Information.
The 300 accounts with the most loyalty points of a game world are listed in the loyalty highscores. Per default, the character with the highest level on an account that is not hidden is displayed here. Players may choose a different character which should appear in the highscores via an option on their account page
. However, characters which are hidden cannot be selected. Players will always appear in the Loyalty Highscores of the game world the selected character belongs to.
Note, if all of your characters are hidden, you will not appear in the Loyalty Highscores at all. Also, characters of accounts which have been deleted or suspended/frozen are not displayed in this highscore list.
All characters of an account receive a title which represents their earned loyalty points. For all characters that are not hidden, the title appears in the character view on the website and ingame by looking at a character. The titles are also displayed in the Loyalty Highscores.

Characters with at least 360 loyalty points will even receive a bonus on their skill points.
Although the amount itself is not displayed, a certain amount of points is needed to gain your next skill level. Similar to the experience level, you need an increasing amount of points to reach the next skill the higher your skill gets.
For every 360 loyalty points a character receives a 5% bonus on all of its skill points, however, the bonus a character can receive is limited to 50%.
To give an example:
A paladin needs 611 skill points for shielding skill 15. A character with 360 loyalty points has a 5% bonus. This means the character does not have 611 skill points but 611 + 5%/611 = 641 skill points which still equal shielding skill 15. A character with 2160 loyalty points and with that a bonus of 30% has 611 + 30%/611 = 794 skill points which equal shielding skill 16.

7.5 Account Registration
Tibia accounts can be registered. Registrations are not mandatory, but there are good reasons to register your account:

- Improved Account Recovery
Registering an account greatly enhances the chance to get it back in case of loss. Registered users can request a new recovery key sent to them by postal mail if all other attempts to recover their accounts fail. Needless to say, the data given in the registration must be correct and complete to make sure the letter reaches its destination. Also, please understand that a fee must be charged for this service. Players who have entered a valid mobile phone number, will receive a recovery TAN via SMS text message whenever they order a new recovery key. The recovery TAN can be used to change the email address of an account. Note that the recovery TAN is only valid for 24 hours and can only be used once.
You can only become a tutor if your account is registered. For details on how to become a tutor please take a look at the tutor guide.
To register your account, click on the button "Register Account" on the account page. An entry page will open up which will give you some explanations concerning the registration process. Click on "Continue" to proceed to the registration form and enter your name, address, mobile phone number, date of birth and gender there. Make sure to enter correct and complete data to ensure that letters that are sent to this address will reach you. Keep in mind that in case of loss you will not be able to get a new recovery key if our letters cannot reach you. However, players who have entered a valid mobile phone number, will receive a recovery TAN via SMS text message whenever they order a new recovery key. The recovery TAN can be used to change the email address of an account. Note that the recovery TAN is only valid for 24 hours and can only be used once.
c) Changing Account Registration Data
With the exception of the gender and the date of birth, all data that can be entered in the registration can be edited at a later point of time. To change your account registration data click on the "Edit" button and change the data in the following Change Registration Data interface.
Once the request to change the account data has been confirmed a note will be displayed on top of the account page. Also, an email will be sent to you to remind you that the registration data of your Tibia account is about to be changed.
The change of the registration data cannot be finalised until a waiting period of 30 days has passed. During this period the change can be aborted anytime by viewing the registration data and clicking on the "Edit" button. Once the waiting period has passed the holder of the account must again confirm the changes of the registration data to finalise the process. In case you have entered a new mobile phone number, you need verify it before you can confirm the registration change.
