Candia

While Roshamuul is the realm of nightmares and Feyrist arose from the mortals' pleasant dreams, Candia is a realm born from the dreams of the Tibian children. When they dream of sweets, which they often do, these dreams take shape here. Although few mortals ever set foot there, it is known to them through numerous fairy tales and stories, under many different names: the Land of Milk and Honey, Candyland, the Land of Cockaigne, the Realm of Sweet Dreams or the Schlauraffen Land. As the name suggests, Candia consists entirely of sweets. Oceans of blueberry and moon melon lemonade meet bright beaches of vanilla sugar that surround the entire island. Moving away from the coast, you enter a soft green land where the grass is made of marzipan and dotted with colourful sugar flowers. Everywhere grow bushes of whipped cream and trees of candy floss, huge lollies and taffy mushrooms. Several mountains rise up inland, made entirely of chocolate, and at their feet lie peaceful lakes of milk and cocoa.
Candia's creation is driven by the purest saccharine magic. If you walk to the centre of the island, you will see the Sweet Dreams Catcher, amidst the Peppermint Forest, just south of the Great Milk Lake. It is the centre and anchor of the island and the origin of the magic that draws all the sweet dreams of the Tibian children to it, creating Candia from them. But one has to be careful when approaching the Great Dreamcatcher. Staring at its spinning centre for too long, may have some side effects like feeling dizzy or even changing temporarily into a candy creature.
Inhabitants of Candia include sugar fairies or gingerbread men, but also the industrious sugar cubes, the cheerful fruit drops, the truffles and the cream blobs. They are all friendly and welcoming, but down in the Chocolate Mines or in the Dessert Dungeons underneath the Gingerbread Castle, there are also some less pleasant fellows: the candy floss elementals, the goggle cakes or the honey elementals, as well as nightmares who came to Candia from Roshamuul, like nibblemaws and candy horrors.
