Secret of Levelgate 999 revealed? - Players Voting has finished!

During August 2015 many Tibians shared their thoughts on which secrets could be hiding behind the mysterious Gate of Expertise for Level 999. However, nobody knows if any of the stories that have been published in Tibia's Auditorium could actually be true.
The community managers had selected 10 ideas that were creative and entertaining to them and published them in the featured article of September.
Tibians then voted on these top 10 stories to narrow down the selection of the community managers to a Top Three.

Congratulations to these three authors, who have now received precious Premium Time, along with an arcane insignia each!

Does that bring us any closer to knowing what is behind this door? No, it most certainly does not.

Statistics

The independent institute Ce-em Decip has recently conducted surveys across all vocations among characters above level 100. Some of the results of these surveys are now presented exclusively to you, the readers of the TIBia TABloids!

general findings: Without doubt it can be stated that throughout all vocations, the perception of other vocations concerning solo~ or group play does not differ very much. Across all vocations the paladin is considered to be best suited for solo play, and the druid to be best suited for group play. (please see pictures below for more details, a click on them will lead to a readable version.).

Vocation in focus: Druids - the best vocation for people who favour playing in groups!

How Do Druids See Themselves?

1167 druids have told us how knowledgeable they consider themselves about their own vocation. They were asked to mark their level of knowledge on a scale from 1-5, 5 being very knowledgeable. Over 900 druids (77%) have stated that they consider themselves at least a 4 or a 5 on that scale, so we have really reached some pro players here. It is save to assume then that the remaining answers are pretty insightful to the druid vocation.
All druids who considered themselves at least knowledgable (a 3 on the scale), continued with the survey (1115 druids).
Even though druids are apparently the vocation best suited for group play, when asked directly, 768 druids (almost 69%) stated, that it is important to them, to be able to hunt solo, too.
They do possess skills though that can be extremely valuable for groups, and thus they are appreciated very much in every hunting party.
Almost all druids regard their healing spells for parties, as well as for a special friend, as extremely important. Only between 40 and 50 druids (less than 5%) stated that they are not satisfied with their ability to heal a friend who is in danger, nor with their mass healing spell. Around 286 (around 25%) druids criticised their ability to heal a complete hunting party.
If we look at the solo play, 343 druids from 1115, (around 30%) stated that they are less satisfied or even not at all satisfied with the current possibilities of druids to play solo.

The Combined Magical Winterberry Society is once again looking for harvest hands. In 2014 over 50% of Tibians were willing to help produce the special juice that keeps the magic in the world flowing. How many berry pickers will they be able to gather this year? The Society promises that your work will not be in vain!

Lucius the famous lightbearer sends out a reminder to all Tibians to start preparing themselves. He wants to raise awareness of the possible dark times that are about to come. He hopes that this year there will be enough voluntary lightbearers to keep evil at bay, once the event has started!

Yasir, a trader for exotic creature products may currently be visiting Carlin, Ankrahmun or Liberty Bay. Or not. Yasu me halaka. Tje hari ku ne finjala. Ariki!

Rashid, way more reliable than Yasir has a message for you: "Kings, queens, emperors and kaliphs... everyone claims to be different and unique, but actually it's the same thing everywhere." Surely something that Queen Eloise would see differently...

Rumour of the Month

Queen Eloise has been spotted in a Thais tavern several times already. Though she had been in disguise, she had been discovered while visiting Frodo. Rumours spread quickly that she was having an affair with Frodo. In order to bring the truth to light, the TIBia TABloid team has spoken with a neighbour of Frodo, Sam.
To our disappointment, the rumours could not be confirmed. Sam rather suspects the visits of the Queen to be business related. He has a strong feeling that the Queen has recently become interested in dog breeding, but Sam was not even certain about that.

Most favourite city!

From September 18 to September 25, Tibians were able to submit their votes for their most favourite city. As already in 2011, it was a head-to-head race between Thais and Yalahar, that this year was decided in favour of Thais. If you would like to know more about this beautiful town, have a look at a City Guide, that is highly recommended by Amaro de Quester, a brave and well-known adventurer.
Only 964 Tibians had participated in the survey this year, while in 2011, 2823 had submitted their choice. In 2011, Yalahar won over Thais with 612 votes to 610. This year, Thais won with 163 to 158 votes.

+++The team of TIBia TABloids wishes everyone a wonderful time in Tibia!+++
