Retro Hardcore PvP Game World


 

Over the years, Tibia has been developed further and further. Many old features have been changed to improve the game, including the PvP system. Some players, however, are still fond of the PvP system of Tibia’s early days. At this time, no skull system existed to keep player killing at bay. For these players we introduced Retro Hardcore PvP game worlds where you can explore the same old and new areas like on other game worlds but can enjoy nearly the same PvP system like in Tibia’s early days. Just like on Hardcore PvP game worlds, there are no restrictions whatsoever on player killing on Retro Hardcore PvP game worlds. The main features of Retro Hardcore PvP game worlds are the following:

  • every attack is justified
  • experience points for killing characters of approximately the same or a higher level
  • death penalty 16% harsher than on other game worlds
  • no skull system
  • no fair fight factor
  • the PvP blessing "Twist of Fate" is not available (neither ingame nor in the Store) and will simply be ignored if a character is protected by one (e.g. after a character world transfer)
  • a regular blessing reduces the loss of experience points only by 6.31%
  • damage from field spells only counts for the first 5 seconds after creation in PvP fights
  • creating a magic field leads to a protection zone and logout block
  • if a character is killed by other characters, no more than 2 characters will be identified as killer of this character
  • after the kill, the characters identified as killer suffer from a protection zone block for 15 minutes, all other characters which dealt damage suffer from a protection zone block for 1 minute
  • supporting (healing, blocking etc.) an attacker is always possible (e.g. also in arena fights)
  • characters who are attacked get a logout block
  • characters that defend themselves by trying to deal damage get a protection zone and logout block
  • the expert mode cannot be activated (it is set by default to red fist), however, the PvP button is usable
  • you can only walk through other characters in protection zones
  • stacking of "Magic Walls" and "Wild Growth" is not possible
  • casting a wall block all distance attacks, including your own
  • a "Magic Wall" itself blocks attacks, but does not count as an attack
  • the spell "Cancel Invisibility" has a chance to destroy a worn stealth ring
  • all characters standing on one field receive damage caused by area damage or field spell damage on this particular spot -> friendly fire is possible
