Marriage/Divorce

How to get married:

  • If you and your sweetheart have decided to tie the knot, you can choose to get married by Lynda in the church of Thais, by Llathriel in Ab'Dendriel, or by Ferus in Kazordoon.
  • If you and your sweetheart are not able to agree on one priest, you can also choose two different priests to get married. However, it might look very strange to your guests if the wedding party is split in two groups.
  • You cannot be married if you are already married, but you may marry a character of the same sex.
  • You cannot transfer a married character to another game world. So if you want to move, you will have to get divorced first.

Wedding ceremony:

  • For the wedding ceremony, you will need two rings and wedding outfits.

  • Norbert in Venore sells gorgeous wedding dresses and wedding suits for 5,000 gold pieces. To make sure that your sweetheart does not see the outfit beforehand, Norbert will hand it to you in a special box.

  • Wedding rings can either be found while hunting or bought from a jeweller for 990 gold pieces.
  • Once you have the wedding outfit boxes and the rings, you can hand them over to the priest of your choice and start the ceremony. Both of you will be asked to state the name of the person your heart belongs to. Your wedding vows will be seen by all guests.
  • Both of you will receive an engraved wedding ring with both names and the date of the marriage.
The name of your spouse will also be displayed on your character page once you are married. From now on, you can also wear your wedding outfit whenever you like provided you are still married.
  • On the day of your marriage (for 24 hours), you will be able to go on your honeymoon. The ferryman Kamil in Fibula will ship newlyweds to the honeymoon island Meluna.

How to get divorced:

You can divorce your partner, even if he or she does not agree.

  • All you have to do is visit Lugri in Thais, or Brewster in Port Hope.

  • For mere 10,000 gold pieces Lugri will make you a free man or woman again.
Brewster only charges 5,000 gold pieces.
  • Your broken marriage will be symbolised by your broken wedding ring.
